What is The Infinite Dip?
The Infinite Dip is a fundraising event in August, in aid of Megan’s Space - a charity founded in memory of Megan Copeland, a 20-year-old student mental health nurse who tragically died by suicide after a long battle with mental illness. The event encourages people to come together, take a symbolic dip, and spark vital conversations about mental health. Every pound raised helps provide free, early-access support to young people across Scotland who are struggling to get the help they need.

Why are we dipping?
Because every conversation matters.
Because every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.
Because Megan’s story deserves to ripple far and wide, changing the tide for others who might feel alone.
This isn’t just any sea dip.
This is a movement.
And yes, the water has to reach above your knees!
Who was Megan?
Megan was a bright, beautiful young woman whose life ended far too soon due to mental health struggles.
Her name carries strength.
Her story carries purpose.
She was the kind of person who lit up a room.
Her legacy lives on through Megan’s Space - a charity founded by those who loved her deeply, offering early-intervention and therapeutic support to young people across Scotland.
Every step into the sea, every wristband worn, every tear and laugh shared — it’s all a message:
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
